The Boilermakers may want to erase last week's nightmarish memories from last week's 66-7 loss to then No. 18 Notre Dame — the most lopsided loss in school history.

CORVALLIS — The hangover lasted about 72 hours. They watched film of the debacle. They digested feedback from coaches. They took a day off. They returned to the practice field. And then, poof, after a wobbly three days, the Oregon State Beavers defense quietly decided, man-to-man, that it was time to move on.

Purdue and Oregon State will both try to bounce back from last weekend's lopsided home losses against in-state opponents when they meet Saturday in a nonconference clash in Corvallis, Ore.

Derrick Rogers Jr. has played all 14 games in his Purdue career. The sophomore doesn't appear on the depth chart for Saturday's game vs. Oregon State.

George Burhenn, one of the potential breakout stars for the offense, is off the depth chart because he can’t shake the injury bug. C.J. Smith, Purdue’s best deep threat, is still missing, but could make an appearance Saturday.
