Clark Griswold himself is heading to Michigan this holiday season, hosting a special 35th-anniversary screening of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw.

Meanwhile, a movie about the Oct. 11, 1975, premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” which made Chase a household name, arrives in theaters starting Sept. 27. Cory Michael Smith (FOX’s “Gotham” and the film “May December”) plays Chase in “Saturday Night,” a behind-the-scenes look at the sketch comedy show’s first live broadcast on NBC.

Clark Griswold, himself, actor Chevy Chase is coming to the Dow Event Center in Saginaw on Monday, December 9 for a screening of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 13. Following a 35th anniversary screening of the movie, Chase and his wife, Jayni, will take part in a conversation and an audience Q&A.
