The United Auto Workers’ rift with Stellantis widened Monday as the union filed federal labor charges over possibly moving production of an SUV out of the country.

The United Auto Workers union on Monday said it had filed federal unfair labor practice charges against Stellantis for allegedly violating contract terms and attempting to move production of the Dodge Durango out of the U.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) union said on Monday that it filed federal unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) against Stellantis NV for alleged violation of the labor contract entered into last year.

The UAW union said it filed the charges with the National Labor Relations Board against Stellantis, claiming that the company unlawfully withheld details about plans to move Dodge Durango production from a Detroit factory to one in Canada,
