The access to the grandstands is difficult, because you have to walk through bridges with steep stairs to cross the circuit and it’s simply impossible for someone in a wheelchair. That’s why an association from Monaco, the Association Monégasque des Handicapés Moteurs, runs a platform on the sector Rocher for all the persons in wheelchairs who make the request in writing: this special sector can welcome around 50 persons. You can contact them directly on their phone number: 00377 93 50 71 00, or send them a fax to: 00377 93 25 17 80 in the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Their contact details are: Association Monégasque des Handicapés Moteurs 9, Rue Princesse Marie de Lorraine 98000 MONACO

Q:
We will be at the May 2020 Grand Prix for our first visit. Our options are to view from the cruise ship, or purchase tickets in the stands. Where is the best place to sit in the stands? We have an option of Stands A,B,K,L,O, or V. Any recommendations on what not to miss while visiting for one day only? Thank you

I agree it is a "Not to be missed experience". We loved it even more than we thought we would. It was pricey but I will say worth it!!! I would say that it is fun to watch the Formula 2 and other races before the big day but being that your time is limited I would probably walk around the lower part of Monaco and be part of the main street atmosphere at bars and restaurants. Lots of places to buy Formula 1 gear etc. Overall we did not feel that things were crazy expensive unless you go to a high end place. Seattle is a very expensive city so buying a beer seemed to be just like here and less than our sporting events. People are fun. One nice surprise to us was that people were pretty casual and lots of bucket list people not juts the high end beautiful designer dressed types. Nothing against that but we are a bit more casual. Of course the pricey yacht parties have that and we had good views of the yachts from K upper. All in all have fun and walk the streets. If you can stay after the race they show the winner interviews on the big screens and that was fun Enjoy
