WEBDec 31, 2015 · Apparently, Xbox 1 doesn't really like Xbox 360 PPPPP. Just kidding. I don't have Kinect for Xbox 360, but I got the Xbox 1 Day 1 edition console with Kinect. Xbox 1's Kinect has a higher resolution and can read QR codes and has better voice recepters and I think it's slimmer too. To video chat on Xbox 1 console, you need Kinect and the Skype app.

There's been no official word yet on whether or not new consoles will support the Kinect, but as it is an Xbox One accessory, it may still be supported.

I have installed the SDK stuff from Microsoft, as well as Visual Community service pack, and on top of that running this guys cmd script from C drive.
Xbox 360 Kinect has flashing green light when plugged into PC
WEBI am planning to use my Xbox 360 Kinect as a webcam on my PC and it has this flashing green light every time I plug it in. To be sure that it's not broken, I plugged it in to my Xbox 360 Slim and it worked. I have currently tried installing both Kinect SDK versions 1.0 beta 2 and 1.8 with no luck. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!
