WEBSep 11, 2024 · Hi. New to the forum. I was given a Masterbuilt 30" Electric Smoker. It was free but not working. The person replaced the top controller and the heating element. I have one exactly like it so I can use it for parts if nothing else. I like to explore and find out what's wrong with stuff so I decided to try fix it.

Want to smoke fish at about 175 degrees. Using instructions, took smoker to 265 (or whatever the highest was) then put the food on and knocked it down to 175.

WEBOct 3, 2015 · I have read that you can get more smoke by placing a small piece of charcoal in the chip pan and then load the wood chips on top. They say that the charcoal will continue to burn the wood chips even though the heating element has cycled off. Has anyone done this?

Analog MasterBuilt Electric smoker started blowing fuse
WEBAug 22, 2015 · I have an analog master built smoker that has been working well for years. All the sudden, I tried plugging it into the same plug i always do and it blows the fuse. The even stranger part is that it if I plug it in without connecting it to the smoker, it works fine. It only blows the fuse once I connect it to the smoker.

WEBJan 14, 2013 · 100 degrees off is absurd, even if it's another part of the smoker.. I smoke on the 2nd rock, with pan on 3rd and AMZPS on the 4th . I have enough trouble keeping AMZPS to keep going without jerry rigging it all different ways, let alone worry about internal temp being off. i hope it's the maverick heh. but i doubt it~
