Monitor disconnecting with HP G5 docking station

I just purchased the HP USB-C G5 docking station so I can connect to my monitor and switch between using my own laptop and personal laptop with ease. The monitor is connected to my docking station via HDMI, however the monitor keeps on disconnecting intermittently and it is getting very annoying.
can't use multiple monitor with g5 docking station to lenovo.
