WEBDestiny 1 available on PC? Hi all, I've been playing Destiny 2. I've gotten as far as I can on the free account. Now I'd like to try Destiny 1 and do the story line. In google'ing I can't find any information on if it's free to play, pay once, or a monthly fee.

WEBOutside of the limitations imposed by consoles at the time, the game actually doesn’t feel that out dated. Sure, some QoL things aren’t there, but it honestly feels like a completely different franchise, but not in a bad way. Destiny 1 had this grittiness to it that just doesn’t feel like it’s there in Destiny 2.

WEBRebuilding and optimizing Destiny 1 for PC is almost like building an entire new game the only difference being they have a lot of designs to work with already. This of course doesn’t mean they won’t hit a ton of brick walls with bugs and other issues. It would be really to have it on PC. But it’s just a really nice dream for now.

The music, the art design, the mystery… it was/is just dripping with vibe. Everything that ‘got better’ in D1’s life is where D2 excels. However, that vibe was there from the release of D1.

WEBSep 12, 2022 · I played all of the Destiny 1 campaign a few years before Destiny 2 on my Xbox and then stopped playing it not able to get the full experience because I didn’t realize there was more then the campaign. Fast forward to a year or 2 ago when I remembered Destiny and got D2 and have played the crap out of it since then on my pc.

Not to mention that even if those games didn't exist, Anthem is slated for a Fall 2018 release, which would certainly coincide with this theoretical Destiny 1 PC Port.

Play destiny 1. you can remote play your old gen console on PC.... but your limited to 720p 30fps and its dependant on a strong internet connection. You must also use a controller.

The only thing to "miss out" on would be the raids, but at this point you're probably better off just waiting for Bungie to recycle their old D1 raid content into D2 because this seems to be inevitable. 4.
